Where to See Wildlife

Otley is well situated as an excellent location to discover nature and wildlife with two designated nature reserves - the Chevin Forest Park and Gallows Hill, plus the River Wharfe, its parks and country footpaths.

Key places are marked with our Woodpecker symbol on the map on our ‘Where to See Wildlife' leaflet, see below and download your own copy.

Copies are available from Otley Library, Courthouse, The Core and various retail outlets around town.

Otley is also well served by a variety of organisations and groups that support wildlife and work hard to improve the environment, natural habitats and encourage wildlife protection for its own sake and for the enjoyment of others.
